About gayla
Gayla Dumont is a Certified Instructor and a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) since 1989. She has been an instructor of bodywork since 1996, first as owner, director, and instructor in Idaho Falls, ID, at A Gift of Health School of Massage, member of the AMTA-Council of Schools, and then as a continuing education provider. She has served in several capacities in the AMTA, including chapter president and delegate, and assisted several Idaho cities in the construction and/or revision of Idaho city licenses. Most recently she served as the first Chairman of the Idaho Board of Massage Therapy for four years. She has a passionate love for this work and enjoys helping others find fulfillment in the changes it creates. Her specialties include Pain Management, Structural Muscular Balancing (SMB), Muscle Energy Technique (MET), Kinesiology, Law and Ethics, Anatomy and Physiology, Prenatal Massage, Infant Massage, and Seated Massage. Personal interests include family, music, theater, Broadway, travel, sky diving, hiking, biking, and remote control flying.
